The base plate (1) is unbendable, and has several layers of thin, foil-type material (2) with the same or different coating, and/or impregnation of each individual layer by at least one two-sided counterposed block adhesion (3), and/or by a harmless, dissolvable sheet adhesion (11). The base plate is made of cardboard, plywood, metal plate, plastic or similar material, with either additionally fitted or integral reinforcement components. The thin, foil-type material (2) comprises paper sheets, cardboard or plastic foil. On each layer of foil-type material a tear-off aid is incorporated at least one side. USE/ADVANTAGE - For covering ceilings, with the additional facility of being easily removable for replacement.
