In an electrical connector in which a closable two-part (11, 12) wire trap (10) is used to provide secure electrical connection between at least one part (12) of the wire trap and a wire end (19, 20) fed thereto via a passage (16), a tapering slot (18) is provided in said one part whereby the wire end becomes wedged in the slot as well as being trapped between the two parts (11, 12) of the trap (10). |
