A novel detachable button in which the body and the fastening means are coupled in a single piece. According to one version of the invention, the fastening means is threadlike and has no other irregularity apart from its terminal end, the other end being fastened to the body of the new button. According to another embodiment of the invention, the fastening means are one or a number of springs, for example a spiral spring or a linear spring provided with an edge. The terminal end of the threadlike spring is preferably pointed in order more easily to pass through the support without damaging the latter. The spring is placed on a flange of the body of the button or in a cavity of the actual body. The flange or the cavity preferably has teeth for locking the fastening of the button.
