The invention relates to a device enabling elements, such as punches and dies, to be fixed in their supports by means of a pinching effect. It consists of a set of two complementary wedges (1 and 2) forming a right parallelepiped contained in a housing (b), which can be made by milling, contiguous with the housing (a), and at least one screw (5) capable of driving the movable wedge (1) along its inclined face (d), thus locking the punch (4) or any other element contained in the housing (a). This device, according to various variants, is capable of being marketed (commercialised) as standard elements. <IMAGE>
