The invention relates to a tool for screwing and/or unscrewing a threaded rod including means for rotationally advancing a tapped support. The tapped support (1) includes an open rear face (4), the tool furthermore including means (5) for bearing on the face (12a) of the threaded rod (12), as well as means for operating the bearing on the face (12a) of the threaded rod (12).
