Microwave-resistant folding box pack for foodstuffs

The liquid-tight, vapour-tight folding box pack is in the shape of a prism. It comprises a blank of microwave-resistant cardboard/plastics multi-layer composite material with a flat bottom and a head zone produced by folding. Holding covers of an insulating material are fixed externally on opposite sides or corners of the pack body between the bottom and the head zone. The holding covers have grippable surfaces. The thermally insulating material is foamed plastics.
