PURPOSE:To obtain an air supply mechanism, light in weight, handy to carry and safe, for use with an air gun by detachably attaching to a high pressure air tank a primary pressure reducing valve which opens a check valve forcibly at the time of connection via a check valve capable of being opened or closed due to pressure difference. CONSTITUTION:In filling an air tank 1 with air, a fastening nut 19 is unfastened to disconnect a primary pressure reducing valve 7 from a check valve 2. Since a stopper piece 7 is released from pressing action thereon of the end of a joint pipe 18 and immediately pushed up by the air pressure inside the air tank 1, a taper part 5 is air sealed via an O-ring 11 and there is no possibility of a high pressure air being blown off to maintain the safety. When the high pressure air is supplied with the filling opening of a filling cylinder screwed into the check valve 2, the stopper piece 7 is pushed up due to the difference between the high pressure air and the inner air pressure of the air tank 1 to release taper parts 5 and 9. The high air pressure air flows from the clearances around a projection 10 of a reduced-diameter part 4 through the taper parts 5 and 9, the clearances 8 around the stopper piece 7 and a communication hole 13 of a stopper 12 into the air tank 1. The filling pressure can be raised to about 150kg/cm<2>-200kg/cm<2>. |
