PURPOSE:To improve the transmission efficiency and to reduce the processing load of a CPU by connecting a FIFO memory to a serial transmission IC and performing the serial transmission of data between a control unit provided at the main body side of a numerical controller and a servo amplifier. CONSTITUTION:The transmission data inputted to a serial transmission IC 30a from a control unit set at the main body side of a numerical controller are temporarily stored in a FIFO memory 30e. A servo CPU 7 reads the data out of the memory 30e and controls a motor 3 via an I/O interface part 8. Then the CPU 7 writes the data on the motor 3 into a memory 30c, and then a handshake circuit 30b writes these data into an IC 30a. The written parallel data are converted into the serial data and sent serially to the control unit via a transmission line. Thus a FIFO memory is provided at the main body side of the numerical controller and the amplifier side respectively. So that the data transmission processing is simplified. |
