The container hangs in the tipping device from two parallel mounting points along its length. An axially retractable, drive controlled holding bracket (17) is mounted to the tipping frame (4). The holding bracket has at least one guide element (18), about which a set length of tensioner (19)is placed. Each end of the tensioning means is attached to one of the adjacent mounting heads (16, 16'). A telescoping frame (10) projects from the free end of the tipping frame with a hooked link, to which the removable holding frame is attached. USE/ADVANTAGE - Device with roll-off tipping frame for the mounting, removal and transportation of vehicle mounted cubic containers deisgned for use with lift-off tipping units. Enables manipulation with a roll-off tipping device of containers designed for lift-off operation, even when the load exceeds the permissible loading of the container mounting heads.
