<p>A lower limb prosthesis as a prosthetic foot (2) and an elongate rod (4) formed substantially of unidirectional long fibers embedded in a thermoplastic matrix, the fibers extending substantially parallel to the length of the rod (4). An adjustment apparatus (1) for the prosthesis includes a pair of pods (10, 12) which may be clamped to the rod (4) and rotated at controlled angles once the thermoplastic rod (4) has been heated to its deformation temperature.</p> |
