The control for the grab is driven by two servo motors mounted at fixed points on the edge of the support frame. The drive is transferred to the grab by a torque transfer gearing at the cross-over point of the two orthogonal guides. The torque is transferred between the motors and the gearing by a shaft drive and an endless belt drive.
