Two metallic discs (1,2) of equal dia. sepd. by an insulating spacer are screwed together so that insulation-lined through-holes (3) in each disc are aligned with plain holes (4) through the other. The ends of metallic arms (13) of the chandelier carrying a ring of halogen lamps (H) are passed through both discs (1,2) and secured by grub screws in threaded radial bores (9,10). The discs (1,2) are connected by separate rods (11,12) to positive and negative supply terminals. ADVANTAGE - Several lamp connections can be made with very small components so that even small chandeliers can be shaped aesthetically.
