A VELCRO type fastener has been devised for application to a textile clothes bag which has a closure tape with a hole. A textile tape of 3cm width is used and the crochet section is sewn to one end of it. The fluffy velour section is sewn to the other end. To produce a narrower centre, the tape is folded up to overlapping sections which are secured by through seams.
