The invention calls for the holder for a doctor blade (8) to have a tensioned elastic handle (1), the arms (2) of which open out at the free end in the form of gripper jaws (4). Rotatably mounted inside the handle (1) is a locking element (11) which locks the arms (2) of the handle (1) together when the blade (8) is clamped in place. This locking action can be produced and reversed simply by rotating the locking element (11). The new holder enables the doctor blade (8) to be changed rapidly. In addition, the gripping force is uniformly distributed over the whole length of the blade, thus avoiding local load maxima which could deform the blade permanently. |
