摘要 |
PURPOSE:To produce a monoclonal antibody by carrying out cell fusion of a mammalian splenic cell immunized with an acidic fibroblastic cell growth factor (aFGF) to a lymphoid cell and proliferating the resultant hybridoma. CONSTITUTION:A mammalian splenic cell immunized with an aFGF protein is subjected to cell fusion to a homologous or heterologous lymphoid cell and cloning is then performed to clone the fused cells and synthesize a hybridoma, which is subsequently proliferated in a liquid culture medium or in the abdominal cavity of a mammal to produce and accumulate a monoclonal antibody. The resultant monoclonal antibody is then recovered to afford a monoclonal antibody against the aFGF protein. The aforementioned monoclonal antibody has 140000-160000 molecular weight and will not carry out cross reaction with a basic fibroblastic cell growth factor. |
