The invention relates to locks (1), equipped with optical code readers, remotely controlled by a management keyboard (4) which makes it possible to select each lock and to insert the conditions of their use into the memory of the access control card (2) of each of them, and, by means of a reader/sender (3), to insert the optical codes of the keys (5) intended for the lock into the memory of the selected access control card (2), the keys being rendered unusable by cancellation of their codes in the memory of the electronic control card (2) tasked with authorising or permitting the use of the selected access by inhibiting the lock (1) in the event of non-agreement of the codes of the key inserted or the introduction of tools or various objects.
