PURPOSE:To make well encoding of voices with a relatively small calculation quantity and memory quantity by subjecting the signals selected from 1st, 2nd code books to linear coupling, then expressing and outputting the sound source signals of voice signals. CONSTITUTION:This system includes a buffer memory 110, an LPC calculating circuit 130, a quantization circuit 140, a sub-frame dividing circuit 150, a weighing circuit 200, the adaptive code book 210, quantizers 220, 240, 285, and 1st and 2nd code book searching circuits 230, 270. The system is provided with the 1st code book 235 stored therein with the signals constituted by learning for the rebeveration signal predicted and determined by dividing the frames of the voice signals to sub-sections and determining the pitch parameters indicating a long-term correlation on the basis of the past sound source signals and the 2nd code book 275 stored with the signals having predetermined characteristics. The sound source signals of the voice signals are expressed and outputted by the linear coupling of the signals selected from the 1st code book 235 and the signal selected from the 2nd code book 275. The good characteristics are thus obtd. with the smaller calculation quantity. |
