Prior art reclining and/or seating furniture is usually designed for permanent installation. In order to provide reclining and/or seating furniture which may easily be transported and assembled and collapsed as required, the longitudinal frame sections (3) of the reclining and/or seating furniture (1) consist of several mutually articulated rocking levers (5). In the open position, the rocking levers (5) are pretensioned in the opening direction by material web (7) forming the seating and/or reclining surface. The rocking levers (5) may be folded in the opposite direction for the purposes of collapsing the furniture. |
