发明名称 MEASURING METHOD FOR PHOTO TRANSMISSION CHARACTERISTICS
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure a transmission characteristics of a photo transmission substance in a stable and a better reproductive manner, by a method wherein a mechanical vibration, which lasts during the measurement, is applied to a photo fiber. CONSTITUTION:A laser is used as a power source 1, and a photo fiber 2 is used with at least a part of a photo path from the power source to a trnsmission medium 3 for light to be measured. A mechanical vibration, which lasts during the measurements, is applied to the photo fiber, and this measures a photo transmission property of a transmission medium for light to be measured. One way to provide with the mechanical vibration is that the photo fiber is rolled in a ring, the toroidal photo fiber is repeatedly transformed into a circle or an oval, or from a long longitudinal oval to a long said sideways oval. The other way is that the photo fiber is rolled in a ring, and the toroidal photo fiber is repeatedly provided with twist. An additional method is that the photo fiber is caused to move in sigzag direction in a wave form, and the wave-formed pitch or amplitude is changed repeatedly. In the frequency of a mechnical vibration, an effect appears at about 1Hz to about 100Hz, frequency being preferably 10-50Hz.
