PURPOSE:To magnify, reduce, rotate, etc., a shape displayed on a screen without using an operation menu by dividing a display screen into plural areas and selecting the operation commands for shift, rotation, etc., of a three-dimensional shape with selection of those divided areas. CONSTITUTION:A shape display screen doubles as a shape operation screen. Then, the shape operation screen is divided into plural areas and selected by an operator for operation of a shape with no display of a menu. For instance, the shape display screen is divided in regard of the magnification/reduction (scale) of a shape, the right/left rotation or the shift, i.e., rotation (beta), shift (left) and shift (right) of the shape, the upper/lower rotation of the shift, i.e., rotate (alpha), shift (up) and shift (down), and an XY plane, a YZ plane, and ZX plane respectively. Then the shape operation is carried out on the screen where a three-dimensional shape is displayed. Such a shape operation requires no menu display and therefore the available area of the display screen is increased. |
