PREPARATION OF RUBBER EXTRUDED PRODUCT HAVING RESIN FILM LAYER

PURPOSE:To improve the adhesion of a rubber base part and a resin film layer by forming an adhesive rubber layer from blend rubber having a specific composition at the same time when the rubber base part is extruded and forming a PVC powder layer on the adhesive rubber layer and melting, cooling and solidifying the PVC powder layer in a heat-vulcanization process to form the resin film layer. CONSTITUTION:For example, the main body 1 of a whether strip consists of a rubber base part 3 formed from compounded rubber of a solid recipe or sponge recipe of EPDM and a hollow seal part 5. A resin film layer 7 is formed on the design surface D of the rubber base part 3 from a PVC compound through an adhesive layer 9. The adhesive layer 9 is composed of rubber blend having a composition consisting of NBR 40-80wt.%, EPDM 20-60wt.% and SBR 0-35wt.% or a rubber compound thereof. The adhesive layer 9 is extruded to the design surface of the rubber base part 3 to be formed thereon and the powdery PVC compound is scattered on the adhesive layer 9 and the whole is introduced into a continuous vulcanization process and good adhesiveness can be secured between the rubber base part 3 and the resin film layer 7. Therefore, a rubber extruded product having a resin film layer can be prepared with good productivity.
