<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a dedicated air-conditioning duct by utilizing the closed cross section space of a body side part as an air-conditioning duct and opendly providing air-blowout holes at suitable places in an automobile in which a body side member, extending in a vehicle width direction and having closed cross section structure, is arranged between the left and right front pillars of a body's main body. CONSTITUTION:In a body's main body 1, a body side cowl member 5, extending in a vehicle width direction and having closed cross section structure, is arranged on the upper part of a dash panel 4 partitioning an engine room 2 and a vehicle room 3, and the both end parts of the cowl member 5 are fixed to the left and right front pillars of the body's main body 1. Also an instruction panel unit U2 is inserted in a vehicle room from a body door opening part to be arranged on the rear side of the cowl member 5. In this case, an air-conditioning device 43, composing the instruction panel unit U2 together with an instruction panel 41, is arranged in the lower part of the cowl member 5, and an air feeding port 71 for a front defroster is communicated to a closed cross section space 73 provided on the lower panel 9 of the cowl member 5. Plural air blowout ports 74 are formed in a longitudinal direction on the cowl member 5.</p> |
