<p>The invention relates to a front jaw (1) having a housing (2) which receives a release spring (4) and through which passes a tension rod (8) acting on two angle levers (13, 14). In order to improve the releasing operation in such a front jaw, according to the invention the housing (2) has two bearing faces (2b1, 2b2) intended for a bearing part (11) and located at vertical distances from the tension rod (8), and the axles (12a, 12b) of the two angle levers (13, 14) are arranged in the bearing part (11) which, in the travelling position, bears against the two bearing faces (2b1, 2b2) under the influence of the release spring (4). <IMAGE></p> |
