<p>PURPOSE:To attain the simultaneous input of plural coordinates to a two-dimensional coordinate surface having a large area in using plural cursors by providing a light reflecting cursor and a set-up type light source unit, and obtaining the coordinate data based on the principle of triangulation applying the angular scan of a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:The left and right light source units A and B are provided at the left and right measuring points A and B of a coordinate surface 3 set on a reference line AB together with two light reflecting cursors 1 and 2. At the same time, at least an auxiliary light source unit C is provided at a prescribed position C on the surface 3 or its extended surface. These three units A - C radiate the luminous fluxes which are angularly scanned along the surface 3, and also detect and receive two adverse luminous fluxes which are successively and recurrently reflected from both cursors 1 and 2, and output the corresponding detection signals. Then the coordinates are obtained with use of the left and right deviation angle data alpha and beta as well as the distance data l between left-right light source units and based on the principle of triangulation. The obtained coordinates are inputted. In such a way, plural coordinate data can be simultaneously inputted to a two-dimensional coordinate surface having a large work area.</p> |
