PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricating oil having excellent wear-preventive effect at Fe/Al contact areas, for refrigerating machines using a 1,1,1,2- tetrafluoroethane refrigerant by incorporating an ester oil of specified viscosity with a sulfur-based wear-preventive agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubricating oil can be obtained by incorporating (A) an ester oil with high molecular polarity 2 - 11 mm<2>/s in viscosity at 100 deg.C with (B) 0.01 - 5 (pref. 0.1 - 3) wt.% of a sulfur-based wear-preventive agent of formula (RO)3P=S (R is alkyl, allyl or phenyl) etc. The component B is, other than the compound of the formula, e.g. a sulfide, sulfurized fatty oil, thiocarbonate, zinc thiophosphate-based compound. |
