PURPOSE:To obtain polyamide composite grains prevented from maximum- densifying caused by vibration and suitable for transportation, storage, etc., by mutually attaching plural globular grains of polyamide having a specific average grain size through a polysiloxane so as to provide blocked grains. CONSTITUTION:The blocked polyamide composite grains obtained by subjecting (A) globular grains of polyamide having 0.1-30 mum, preferably 3-20 mum average grains, e.g. globular grains of nylon 12 obtained by polymerizing laurolactam using a fluid paraffin as a solvent and using an alkali metal and phosphorus based initiator and then dispersing the resultant polymer in a poor solvent such as alcohol to dry blending or wet blending with (B) a polysiloxane of 1-50 wt.%, preferably 4-15 wt.% based on the component A, preferably dimethylpolysiloxane having 500-10,000 cs viscosity (at 25 deg.C) and then subjecting the resultant blend to heat treatment, preferably at 100-130 deg.C for >=4 hr. |
