<p>PURPOSE:To change the maximum steering angle easily and improve the reliability of regulating mechanism by providing a stopper part integrally with a rear wheel steering shaft, and moving a steering angle regulating member within a space surrounded by stopper faces formed in such a way that facing distance can be changed plurally. CONSTITUTION:The target steering angle of a rear wheel is determined by a control unit 1 inputted with the steering angle of a front wheel and the detection signal of vehicle speed, and a steering control signal corresponding to the deviation between this target steering angle and the actual steering angle is generated and provided to a motor driving circuit 5. A motor 4 is thereby driven to move a rear wheel steering shaft 7 axially through gear mechanism 6 so as to steer the rear wheel. In this case, maximum steering angle control mechanism provided at the rear wheel steering shaft 7 is formed of a V-block like stopper part 10, integral with the rear wheel steering shaft 7, having two opposed stopper faces 10a, 10b, and of a steering angle regulating member 11 supported on the vehicle body side and moved forward/backward by an actuator 12; and the maximum steering angle is set according to the advance quantity of the steering angle regulating member 11.</p> |
