PURPOSE:To bring the command value of a voltage vector into coincidence with an average voltage vector by limiting the magnitude of a command value of a momentary voltage vector to the inner range of a circle which is contacted with the inside of a regular hexagonal shape of a time mean voltage vector generation limiting range. CONSTITUTION:A vector composite unit 21 combines in vectors phase voltage momentary value command values va*, vb*, vc* and separates it into the ampli tude ¦V*¦ of the momentary voltage vector and the angle theta from a reference direction. A limiter 41 limits the magnitude of the command value of the momen tary voltage vector to the inner range of a circle which is contacted with the inside of a regular hexagonal shape of a time mean voltage vector generation limiting range. A firing signal generator 24 outputs a firing signal of a switching signal in response to the outputs of latch circuits 22, 23. |
