The invention relates to a conveying apparatus for conveying tree trunks through a measuring means in which the conveying apparatus comprises at least one transport chain and a plurality of drivers driven by the chain for receiving the trunks, the drivers sliding on a guide track. To ensure a reliable supporting of the tree trunks on the drivers during transport through the measuring means and thus prevent tilting of the tree trunks, the invention proposes that the drivers are spaced apart in the conveying direction of the chain and the engaging face of the drivers for receiving the tree trunks perpendicularly to the conveying direction of the chain extends inclined, at least two dirvers having oppositely extending inclines in the conveying region. |
