<p>PURPOSE:To judge quality such as degree of tastiness of rice efficiently with high accuracy by sampling bran generated when rice polished preliminarily is polished excessively to analyze content components thereof. CONSTITUTION:When rice to be judged is unhulled rice, refined rice is used with yields thereof ranging 88-92% by pre-polishing and when the rice to be judged is cleaned rice, the refined rice is used as intact and an excessive polishing is performed. A surface layer sphere is polished to 200mu from the surface of grains of cleaned rice until the yields come to range 75-85% by excessive polishing to sample bran. The bran sampled is irradiated with near infrared rays to measure contents of components (nitrogen, amylose, moisture, fat and the like) contained in a batch or a chemical analysis is used to deter mine individual contents.</p> |
