PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to store a conversion program in a memory of a processors or a disk by converting the data expression format of the processors based upon the conversion program stored in an IC card. CONSTITUTION:The expression format of byte string data to be processed by processors 1, 4 is converted not by CPUs in the processors 1, 4 but by a CPU in the IC card 3 inputted by I/O devices 2, 5. The expression format B can be converted into A by the conversion program stored in the IC card 3. Since it is unnecessary for the processors 1, 4 to store programs necessary for data conversion processing in their own memories or in a disk and the conversion processing is executed in the IC card, the load of the memories and processing capacity of the processors can be sharply reduced. |
