PURPOSE:To obtain excellent talking quality even in an environment where a reception level is terribly fluctuated by always selecting plural radio base stations whose communication state is excellent among radio base stations resident around a mobile terminal equipment in the case of making diversity communication between the plural radio base stations and the mobile terminal equipment whose shield effect is different from each other. CONSTITUTION:A mobile communication system consists of plural radio base stations 10, a mobile terminal equipment 20 and an automobile telephone exchange station 30. Then a signal sent from the mobile terminal equipment 20 is received by a peripheral base station 10 and plural radio base stations 10 in the order of larger reception levels are selected among peripheral radio base stations 10 depending on the result of reception to send/receive information between the mobile terminal equipment 20 and the plural selected radio base stations 10. Thus, since the mobile terminal equipment 20 always makes diversity communication with plural radio base stations 10 whose communication station is always excellent, excellent talking quality is obtained even in an environment where a reception level is terribly fluctuated.
