PURPOSE:To miniaturize a product and reduce the cost by holding the pressurizing and holding structure of a laminate by the tensile stress of a metallic tube, and simplifying the shapes of electrode plates fitted with lead terminals and an insulating sheet. CONSTITUTION:Electrode plates 2 and 3, which have lead terminals 2a and 3a respectively, are arranged at the top and bottom of the laminate 36 of basic cells, and the outside of the electrode plate 3 is arranged to accord to the inside of the bottom of an insulating sheet 4 U-shaped in cross section, and in the condition that the laminate 36 is pressurized vertically through the electrodes 2 and 3 and the insulating sheet 4, those are stored in a metallic tube 1 where the cross section is a tetragon and both ends are opened. At that time, the electrode plates 2 and the inner top of the metallic tube 1, and the insulating sheet 4 and the inner bottom of the metallic tube 1, are flatly in contact with each other, and the stress caused by pressurizing and holding the laminate 36 exerts uniformly on the top and bottom inner walls of the metallic tube 1. Accordingly, the stress is maintained by the tensile strength of the side wall of the metallic tube 1. Hereby, the shape becomes simple and small, and the cost can be reduced. |
