<p>PURPOSE:To obtain this compact and thin personal computer by providing a display and a key input changeover switch so as to output screens from the personal computer and also to perform the key input and pointing input operations on the display. CONSTITUTION:A touch panel 1 is placed on a thin display 9, and an input changeover switch 2 is changed over together with an output changeover switch 8 when touch is applied to the changeover switch part of the panel 1. Then the screens of a key inputscreen memory 6 and a display screen memory 7 are outputted with the key input and the pointing input respectively. When a key input mode is selected, the pointing position of the panel 1 is informed to a key input control part 3 and converted into a keyboard signal there. This keyboard ignal is inputted to a personal computer main body 5. When a pointing input mode is selected, the pointing position is informed to the personal computer main body 5 through an input control part 4.</p> |
