PURPOSE:To allow the simultaneous processing of waterless planographic plates and PS plates with one unit of an automatic developing machine by providing at least two continuous post-development processing sections and using a soln. contg. a dye as one of processing liquids and an aq. surfactant or desensitizing soln. as the remaining one. CONSTITUTION:At least the two post-development processing sections 2 to 4 are provided and the soln. contg. the dye is used as one of the processing liquids to be used and the aq. surfactant soln. (rinse soln.) or desensitizing soln. is used as the remaining one in the case of the processing to execute the automatic development processing of the damping waterless photosensitive planographic printing plate (waterless planographic plate) and the photosensitive planographic printing plate (PS plate) for forming the planographic printing plate requiring damping water. Namely, the developing section 1, the dyeing section 2 to execute dyeing, the washing section 3, and the rinsing and desensitization processing section 4 which executes the processing by the rinsing liquid or the desensitization processing by the desensitizing soln. are provided and after the dyeing is executed with the soln. contg. the dye, the processing is executed with the rising liquid or the desensitizing soln. Both of the PS plate and the waterless planographic plate are processed with one unit of the automatic developing machine in such a manner. |
