PURPOSE:To obtain webbing for safety belt having improved strength and quality at a low cost by using yarn having a specific breaking elongation as weft and weaving. CONSTITUTION:Yarn having >=30% breaking elongation is used as weft and woven to afford webbing having improved strength in which weft is readily elongated without breaking in pulling of warp and therefore the warp is not broken, too.
