The beam joint (1) according to the invention is composed of elements (10) in longitudinal succession, located between two grate layers (2, 3) formed of a longitudinal succession of alternately fixed (2a, 3a) and movable (2b, 3b) rods, moving to and fro longitudinally. An element (10) is composed of an I frame with a web between a lower flange forming a sole plate and an upper flange (11) which forms the roof, and of two wipers (20, 30) with a U profile with a base (21) bearing on the edge of the corresponding grate layer (2, 3). Springs, passing through the frame web by means of slots, urge the wipers (20, 30) against the layer edges (2, 3) in order to compensate for the expansion of these layers. The framework and the wipers are made from a mechanically joined construction, in order to obtain sufficient sealing between wipers and framework. <IMAGE> |
