PURPOSE:To suppress the increase in the transmission loss to a degree almost negligible due to provision of an impedance matching stub by forming the impedance matching stub with a dielectric substance with a high Q and a high dielectric strength. CONSTITUTION:An impedance matching stub 2RSDM made of a dielectric solid with a high Q and a high dielectric strength is fixed to a prescribed position of a guide wall 1RL in a rectangular waveguide circuit by using a proper adhesives or by means of a screw fastening or the like. Thus, the circuit conductance is minimized and the increase in the transmission loss is suppressed almost to be negligible through the provision of the stub. Moreover, the decrease in the dielectric strength and the maximum transmission power is prevented. Furthermore, the similar effect is obtained even in a circular waveguide circuit. |
