<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently scan an original in response to magnification of a wide range by providing plural cylinders with different radius from each other arranged integrally and concentrically and devising the scanning input start position to be adjusted freely with respect to each cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An input cylinder 3 adopts integral structure in which a cylinder 3b of a small diameter is arranged concentrically in the inside of a cylinder 3a of a large diameter, the cylinder 3b is projected from a tip of the cylinder 3a and the cylinders are made transparent. Then an input head 10 consists of a light projection section and a light receiving section, a light from a light source 50 radiates from the rear side of an original 6 via a lens and the transmitted light is received by a photoelectric conversion element. The start of input of the scanning of the original 6 is adjusted by moving the input cylinder 3 in the main scanning direction and moving the input head 10 in the subscanning direction A. Then in the case of a high magnification, the original 6 is set to the cylinder 3b of a small diameter, the head 10 is moved, the original is moved in the direction B by a head base 36 to insert the light projection section of the head 10 into the cylinder 3b. Thus, the diameter of the cylinders is selected without replacement of the cylinders.</p> |
