PURPOSE:To enhance the restraining performance at collision to a great extent by furnishing a mechanism to remove slack of a seat belt when the belt tension generated excessively at collosion has gone out substantially, and providing a mechanism to re-lock the seat belt after reloading of belt tension. CONSTITUTION:When one collision phenomenon is going to end, a driver or passenger is put into a standstill and the belt tension will nullify, and now the force of a spring 11 moves No.2 webbing guide 9 to the left. With this movement, No.1 lever 13 in a single piece with the No.2 webbing guide 9 rotates round a fulcrum 12 to contact No.2 lever 20 and presses it. This causes No.2 lever 20 to rotate, which will thus interfere with a retractor reel lock pin 4. As reaction to this interference, locking of the pin 4 with a gear 7 is disengaged, and a reel 6 is ready for taking up a webbing 5. Further, a car deceleration sensing device 3 is restituted, and one end 20a of the No.2 lever 20 is locked to a dolly 21. |
