The invention relates to the heating box and the heating container used for keeping food, medicinal or other products hot for several hours. The basic concept is to make individual group use, of small or average size, of a large container for company use, which generally has the shape of a parallelepiped (or other shapes) and is made of aluminium, steel, plastic, glass, etc... and whose sides (or wall or covering) are parallelepipeds divided into two or three sections (1), one being hollow (2) in order to contain boiling water; the other (3) containing thermoplastic product such as polystyrene, polyethylene etc, in the form of fibres, wadding, flakes... This thermoplastic product has the property of retaining heat for a long time and of returning it to the surroundings, the products contained in the box thus remaining hot for a long time. The inside of the box can be empty or divided into several compartments for containing different products. <IMAGE>
