The invention relates to a simple device making it possible to dry out wood after pickling. In the isothermal cell (5) is a ceiling unit heater (11) which allows heating and agitation of the air. Heating, by means of the heating resistance (8), allows the water on the surface of the wood to be evaporated. Agitation by the agitation fan (7) has the effect of causing the moisture in the wood to be absorbed into the air. Renewal of the air in the isothermal cell (5) is provided at the intake by the automatic flap (12) and at the outlet by a damp air extraction fan (6). The device according to the invention is particularly intended for drying out wood after pickling for wood pickling companies.
