<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the leading edge of a copying paper from being drawn in when the pawl of a resist shutter turns and to transfer a high-definition image by notching a part of the pawl of the shutter and causing the rib of a paper feeding lower guide to protrude in the notched part. CONSTITUTION:The copying paper 11 passes between the paper feeding lower guide 5 and a paper feeding upper guide plate 4 and abuts on the pawl 6b of the resist shutter 6. When the shutter 6 is restored and the pawl 6b is released, the paper 11 is fed to an image forming unit 1. In such a case, the guide rib 5a protrudes in the groove 6c of the pawl 6b to receive the leading edge of the paper 11 which is about to be drawn in when the pawl 6b turns and prevents it from being drawn in. The rib 5a, which exists inside the pawl 6b, disperses loads by the feeding force on the leading edge of the paper 11.</p> |
