PURPOSE:To provide a device for causing the lower end of a panel such as a printing plate, etc. to closely stick to the surface of a stage by means of an L-shaped notch consisting of a bottom surface and a slant surface which is provided on the upper end of a positioning member installed to the lower end of the stage. CONSTITUTION:A printing plate 4 is placed on a punching plate 3 and its lower position is determined by a positioning member 5. At this time, the lower end of the printing plate 4 slides down along the slant surface 7b of a supporting member 7 and finally settles on its bottom surface 7a and the lower end of the printing plate 4 is caused to closely stick to the surface of the punching plate 3 since such a force that pushes the lower end of the printing plate 4 toward the punching plate 3 acts upon it. Next, the printing plate 4 is caused to further stick to the punching plate 3 and fixwd by negative pressure.
