PURPOSE:To automatically settle the account of a parking fee by a card convenient for carrying by inserting a card previously priced by a card issuing machine into a parking fee collector at the time of parking and calculating a parking fee calculated by the collector in accordance with the price of the card. CONSTITUTION:When money such as bills or coins is inserted and the amount is determined, the card issuing machine 11 displays the function of a prepaid card by storing the amount data in the memory 10 of the parking card 10. The parking fee collector 12 for collecting a parking fee is arranged on the inside of an automobile 13, e.g. inside of a front glass which can easily be observed, and the battery of the automobile is used for the power supply of the collector 12. When the card 10 is inserted into the collector 12, the parking fee corresponding to parking time is subtracted from the amount of the card 10 to collect the parking fee. Since the card 10 can easily be carried by a driver and simply connected to the collector 12 of the automobile, price additional processing can be simplified and automatic settlement of payment can easily be executed. |
