The cloth comprises warp cotton threads combined with natural and/or synthetic threads of 40-60 Nm fineness and weft cotton threads alternating with gps. of up to 50% synthetic fibre threads. The weft has the same thread length (10-30 mm) and fineness as the warp, but its twisting is reduced from e.g. 900-400 per m. The relatively thick warp cloth is washed at ambient temperature, and dried and hot fixed with up to 8% feed in the relaxed state.
