<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize an apparatus and to reduce power consumption by roughly separating hygroscopic moisture from raw material gas under low pressure by a cooling type dryer and subsequently concentrating the gas to take out a small volume of gas as a product and dehumidifying this gas in a pressurized state equal to or more than atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION:A moisture-containing gaseous mixture composed of multi- component gas is separated into hardly adsorbable gas (e.g. O2) and easily adsorbable gas (e.g. N2) according to a pressure swing method using an adsorbent, and the dried easily adsorbable gas is separated as product gas. At this time, hygroscopic moisture is roughly separated from raw material gas under a low pressure condition of 1kg/cm<2>G or less by a cooling type dryer 2. Next, the raw material gas is supplied to pressure swing type gaseous mixture separators 3A-3D and the easily adsorbable gas separated by the separators 3A-3D is dehumidified by dehumidifiers 8A, 8B using a pressure or temp. swing type adsorbent and the adsorbable gas in a dried state is separated in a pressurized state equal to or more than atmospheric pressure. As a result, the apparatus can be miniaturized and power consumption can be reduced.</p> |
