<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a sanitary and useful rice cabinet which can prevent water from invading into a rice storing room from the front surface of the cabinet by providing a guide part to communicate with the outside of the storing room between a front plate and the storing room, and a drain groove having a rising-up middle part in the guide part. CONSTITUTION:A rice cabinet body 33 consists of a rice storing room 34 having a funnel-shaped bottom and a front plate to cover the front surface of the cabinet. Between the front plate 35 and a front surface plate 34a of the rice storing room 34, a drain groove 36 having a rising-up middle part sloping down toward both ends is provided watertightly. The groove 36 works as a guide part to communicate with the outside of the rice storing room 34, and has a gap 34c on each end between the guide part and the side plate 34b. The gap 34c forms a drain passage for leading water outside of the cabinet 31. In this constitution, if water is spilt by mistake over the cabinet 31, the water is prevented from invading into the rice storing room 34.</p> |
