PURPOSE:To simplify a measuring operation and to stabilize measurement accuracy as well as to facilitate the exchange of electrodes by using a micropipette having a cap which can be attached and detached to and from a suction port and providing an enzyme electrode on the inside surface of this cap. CONSTITUTION:The circular conical cap 5 is mounted attachably and detachably in the suction port 4a of the micropipette. The thin film-like working electrode 6 and reference electrode 7 (both constitute the underlying electrodes) are formed on the inside surface of this cap 5. The two electrodes 6, 7 are coated with an immobilized enzyme film 9 to constitute the enzyme electrode Es. The conduction of the measuring operation by the operation of the micropipette is possible in this way. Since the discharge of a sample, etc., is executed by the discharge operation of the micropipette, the remaining of liquid drops on the electrode Ee is obviated and the measurement accuracy is stabilized. Further, the exchange of the electrode Es is executed by the attachment and detachment of the cap and is easy. |
