PURPOSE:To accurately correct a background with high accuracy by providing an input, storage, and display means for two-dimensional special image information, a means which specifies two specific points, a background calculating means, a light spot specifying means, and an integrating means. CONSTITUTION:Points P and Q are specified with a mouse 13 and their coordinates and absorbance are stored in a RAM 11 and used to calculate a background plane Z. The peripheries of light spots S1 and S2 on the screen of a display device 12 are viewed and traced with the mouse 13 to generate a light spot information file corresponding to an image data file on the RAM 11, thereby making the inside and outside of the specified light spot distinctive. Both the files are referred to and rows and columns are read out in order from the 1st row and 1st column, the cumulative value (integral value) of the quantity of light absorbance (zero correction data) obtained by subtracting the background value from the absorbance at a light spot is calculated in the light spot, and the volume of the light points S1 and S2 above the background are calculated. The background is corrected with high accuracy by the determination of two-dimensional electrophoresis having the background varying linearly. |
